What can be holy in laughter? The previous Rebbe had such a smile.

With his powerful gaze and holy laughter, he could transform and illuminate any thing or person he meets. His laughter was such that any one soul which saw him was immediately intrigued by his divine light and in want of his inner depth. The holy laughter is a peaceful way of facing challenge and darkness. The Previous Rebbe himself went through much challenge and hardships during his life time. But with his deep smile and radiance, he was connected, strong and inspired a generation to do the same.

I am happy to have finished this art on the anniversary of his passing 70 years ago. That was the first time I began drawing him and it was timely, because the world needs holy laughter, smiles and sacredness in the pleasures of life.
